Description

Positioned as a mid-tier solution, the XD5-40 Series supports both Direct Thermal (XD5-40d) and Thermal Transfer (XD5-40t) printing, as well as RFID-enabled models (XD5-40tR), making it suitable for a wide range of labelling applications.

Designed for efficiency, the series delivers print speeds of up to ~178 mm/sec (7 ips) with optional 300 dpi resolution, ensuring clear and accurate barcodes, text, and graphics.

Built with a compact clamshell design, the XD5-40 is easy to operate and maintain, with intuitive controls, optional LCD display, and tool-less access to key components. It supports a wide range of media types including labels, tags, receipts, and wristbands.

The printer offers strong integration capabilities with support for multiple programming languages (SLCS™, BPL-Z™, BPL-E™) and compatibility with major systems, enabling seamless deployment into existing environments.
