Barcode Systems Direct Ltd (Trading as BarcodePro)

1. Manufacturer Warranty

All products supplied by BarcodePro are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable.

Warranty periods and coverage terms vary by brand and product type. Details of warranty duration and conditions are defined by the respective manufacturer and may include:

  • Limited hardware warranty

  • Parts and labour coverage

  • Return-to-base service

  • Advance replacement (where offered by manufacturer)

BarcodePro does not provide additional warranty beyond that offered by the manufacturer unless explicitly stated in writing.

2. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Procedure

If a product is received faulty upon delivery:

  • Notification must be made within 48 hours of receipt

  • The issue must be reported in writing with supporting evidence (photos or video where applicable)

  • Original packaging must be retained

Upon verification, we will liaise with the manufacturer or distributor to arrange replacement or further instructions.

DOA approval is subject to manufacturer assessment.

3. RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation)

For products that develop a fault during the warranty period:

  • An RMA reference must be obtained prior to return

  • Customers must provide product serial number and proof of purchase

  • Manufacturer diagnostics may be required

Repairs and replacements are processed in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Products returned without an approved RMA reference may be refused.

4. Service Centre Guidance

Most manufacturers operate authorised service centres for warranty repairs.

Depending on the brand and warranty type:

  • Products may need to be sent directly to the manufacturer’s service centre

  • Advance replacement may be offered (where applicable)

  • On-site service may be available for selected enterprise devices

We will provide guidance on the appropriate procedure once a warranty claim is submitted.

5. Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage

  • Misuse or improper installation

  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Consumables (unless defective on arrival)

6. Policy Updates

Warranty procedures may vary depending on manufacturer updates and distributor agreements.

This policy is reviewed periodically to reflect current manufacturer requirements.
